Check out these photos  from the first in a series of socially-distanced concerts at Gosforth Park, Newcastle, which was kicked off by Brit Awards winner Sam Fender.

 There were 2,500 tickets for the show at the pop-up Virgin Money Unity Arena, and they sold out in minutes.

 The gig had a one-way system in place, food and drink could be pre-ordered to avoid queuing, and facemasks were required when leaving the private pitches.

There was demarcation of each group that came in their cars by racks and the show was a total success.
